About the I-am-not-a-robot option for solving captchas, I think that's 
something the website designer has to set up. I don't think we can 
choose to use it on websites that haven't been coded for it, like the 
one I was trying to work with when I started this thread.


Thanks for reminding me of CaptchaBeGone. I'll have to experiment with that.


Finally, about having trouble checking boxes on the web, my guess is 
that you are a Jaws user. I notice that I often have to refresh Jaws 
manually, with ins+escape, after checking boxes and clicking links on 
the web. If I don't, I think nothing has happened because Jaws reports 
no changes, even when I arrow around. With NVDA, I rarely have this 
problem. I'm still on Jaws 18, so the problem may have been corrected, 
but because it goes back one or two Jaws versions, I would expect it to 
be alive and well.
