Agreed.  If you don't have a Yahoogroup account you can't view messages on
the web and it might take longer to re-subscribe to a list.  But, if you
can't access the Yahoo account pages this is a quicky subscribe option that
works well until you can straighten out the access problems.

It is interesting that sighted and blind alike have problems with the
YahooGroups pages.  Some are problems like Anjalea describes and some are
simple problems of confusion because there is so much stuff on the pages.

To sign up for an account, I've suggested that folks set aside time to read
and familiarize themselves with the pages first.  But the simple page not
loading and error messages received seem common among all attempted users.

Yahoo and Hotmail, Google and other services are expanding, changing and
upgrading, and strange quirky things happen during these processes too!
