I also use Window Eyes and Adobe.  When I have to edit things in Adobe, I
simply hit control-A to select the file and then open MS Word and paste the
file into Word.  The only hitch is that he won't be able to return the file
as a PDF, unless of course he has Acrobat Writer.  Or he might be able to
simply print it out with the responses filled in.  Hope this helps.
