Innovative technology company located in Midland Park, NJ is seeking an 
Assistive Technology Instructor to work with our Blind and Low Vision 
clients providing assessment and training.

Job Duties include:

•	Determining consumers’ assistive technology needs
•	Providing Workplace assessments
•	Recommending appropriate products to be purchased
•	Installing computers, software and other equipment at consumerâ’s locations
•	Training consumers in the use of assistive technology and appliications
•	Troubleshooting software and hardware problems
A background in training and/or education and strong knowledge of the 
Windows operating system, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook and Internet 
Explorer is essential. The successful candidate needs to be comfortable 
working independently and learning new software/hardware on their own. 
Extensive travel in Northern New Jersey is required.

Prior experience with Assistive Technology is a definite plus, but we are 
willing to train someone with strong general computer and training skills.

This position involves extensive work with students and adults with low 
vision and the ability to identify and implement opportunities for 
enhancing use of residual vision will be important to the successful candidate.
