I don't know of any good getting started references or tutorials for
Firefox, but it's going to work pretty much the same as IE. I'd suggest
just downloading it, take it for a test drive and then ask any questions
you have on the list. The interface is a bit cleaner than IE's, so it
might even be easier to use. I just use the F6 key to jump between the
location field (where I enter new URL's), the search bar and the body of
the web page. This key also works in IE, but you have to jump around to
a lot more objects. I think the one thing that trips up IE users is that
control+o opens up a dialog to open a file on a local drive. I think in
IE this is how you open up a link. In Firefox, control+l just takes you
to the location bar.
