Subject: Accessibility Update, Volunteers Needs for Web Accessibility Study



Nielsen Norman Group, www.nngroup.com, is conducting a research study about
the usability of websites for people who use assistive technologies. A few
more volunteers are needed. If you use the Internet and meet the following
criteria, please contact us.

- New York City, people who use screen magnifiers -- please contact Amy
Stover at [log in to unmask]

- Boston or New York City, people who use any of the following:  Braille
device with a computer, screen magnifier, any motor skill assistive
technology -- please contact Elizabeth Franko at [log in to unmask]

Sessions will occur from now through the end of August 2001.  Participants
will be given a modest honorarium for participating in the study. Nielsen
Norman Group will come to the users' office or home and ask volunteers to
use their usual assistive technology and Internet connection.  Neither
participant names nor employer names will be disclosed in the report.
