Hello,

When focused on the folder you want to be unselected, press control plus spacebar. Also, if you press alt plus app, W and then enter, it will go into the file menu, new submenu and the enter command will activate the folder option.

If I do either because I accidentally bump the arrow keys or because I want to double-check that I don't already have a folder of the same name, the New submenu doesn't appear as an option. Of course, I know it appears only when focus is not on an item. So I need to take focus off of where it is. So far, the only thing that works is hitting backspace to exit the current folder, then coming back into it to create the new folder.
