 Accessibility Specialist Job Openings at DARS



 The Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services 
(DARS) is seeking qualified applicants to fill two vacant 
accessibility specialist positions in Austin, Texas.



 Do you know what WCAG 2.0 and Section 508 are? If you do, you 
might have what it takes to join the DARS Accessibility Team.  
Our team works to make sure our agency's digital content can be 
used by people with a wide range of abilities - for example, 
people who are blind or have low vision, people who are deaf or 
hard of hearing, and people who have mobility issues that prevent 
them from using a computer mouse effectively.  We work with 
content such as websites, web applications, forms, Office and PDF 
documents, eLearning content, and most any other electronic 
content or device that has a user interface.



 DARS is part of the Texas HHS family and also supports the Texas 
Workforce Commission to help Texans develop the skills become 
productively employed.  If you are an accessibility specialist,
