I haven't used either of these programs, so I cannot personally comment on 
them specificly.  However, as both programs do have their fans, they 
obviously work.  As for stations not playing, as someone who has tracked 
streams for over a decade, keeping a database of them current is a 
thankless monumental task.
Personally, I use an approach similar to that described by Harry Brown 
earlier this week using as reference sources, in addition to the station 
websites themselves, such sources as

http://streamingradioguide.com

www.radiotime.com

www.vtuner.com

www.billsparks.org


www.radio-locator.com

and others.




No one source can have it all; nor keep it totally current.  That is the 
drawback to using one dedicated piece of software or database.

It is also possible that certain screen readers may function better or run 
into difficulties with specific pieces of software or websites.
