I have seen this strange behavior when I retrieve my Hotmail under Outlook
Express. I am not using JAWS. This seems to happen when I open the Inbox
while Outlook Express is still retrieving the mail. If I wait until I hear
the tone signaling the arrival of new mail, I only receive one occurrence of
the message.
