Hi Dan:

Do you know who the publisher is?  If you do, try going to the
Publisher's website and looking for a contact us or similar link.  If
you find that, then contact the publisher and see if they will send you
a PDF version of the book.  They may send you a scanned image, in which
case, you will need to have either Kurzweil 1000 or Open Book to run it
through.  I did this for a book I needed last Winter and had no problem
getting it.
