Page files are dynamic cache storage files, constantly changing and
aren't remotely needed in Microsoft backups. Find out how to bypass them
in the backup program. While you're looking, do as Jon suggests and
allow or whitelist only those folders that contain your personal files,
blacklisting all else. Make a list of your third party software and put
that in your personal documents also so when needed, you can review and
re-install them. Find out how to export your email contacts and browser
favorites and put those files into a backup folder along with your
documents, music and whatever else you have. If you have a password
manager, do the same there too.
