Harry,

I've seen this type of online junk format several times over the years.

How did you get this user manual?
Did you save it, or copy the manual from the website?

I recall a discussion some time ago about this sort of online junk format,
and someone suggested saving the text in Word, then opening a couple of
menus to remove the junk.
Cannot remember which version of MS Word.

I will check to see if I still have the instructions.

Leaving soon, appointment with my hearing aid technician.

Hi all,

Well folks, I use to be able to do this in internet explorer, but I 
tried this web page?? in internet explorer and no dice, nothing. I tried 
it in microsoft edge, and nothing, I tried it in google chrome, and nothing.

This is a manual for a portable telescopic ham radio antenna, which 
shows some promise for an antenna, but I've got to get the manual 
usable, and, then I can try the antenna and see if it works.

So, I brought it over to word pad, and there is a lot of html junk in 
it, and I tried to do a find and replace, but it didn't find, and it 
didn't replace.

So, if someone could tell me how to get rid of this stuff to make it 
readable, or, if someone could do it for me, I would love it.

Because the sooner I find out how to work with this antenna, the sooner 
people will be able to use the antenna!
