The National Center for Leadership in Visual Impairment at the Pennsylvania
College of Optometry in Elkins Park, PA located near Philadelphia is seeking
an individual to design and implement databases and other technology related
activities to support a grant funded research project to address leadership
in vision impairment. This is a part-time position which requires residence
in the local vicinity.



Candidates should be proficient utilizing Microsoft Office Suite including
Access (SQL experience a plus), PowerPoint Word and Excel software
applications; possess solid working knowledge of database concepts including
their design, implementation and management; experience with Web page design
including design, maintenance and optimization of images is also required;
experience with Microsoft FrontPage, Macromedia Dream Weaver or Microsoft
Visual Studio. Excellent communication and presentation skills also
required.
