As a result of the attacks to the twin trade towers in New York, vicug-l
was knocked offline for the past week.  Vicug-l is hosted by St. John's
University in Jamaica, New York.  The University partners with an
Internet company in Manhattan    which was unable to provide service late
last week and early this week.  It appears that the company's
infrastructure and telecommunications links have been repaired.
