In the article, computers using the Windows OS were being assumed.  This is 
still the modality in which most blind users of today first use computers. 
perhaps the article should have been renamed, to something like: "Which of 
four Windows screen-reading products?"

They did not include the macintosh and its free screen reader.  It is built
into the oprating system not added later.

With the percentage of the market, the macintosh voice over screen reader
is now the world's largest installed base because it comes with every
machine sold.

Blind people use it as their only computer doing all the functions others
do on a pc computer with ms and one of the third party screen readers.
