While I don't use it anymore I think I needed the touch cursor with Kaspersky Antivirus as navigating with the tab key was rarely providing me with any speech feedback. However, I admit that when I need to review the screen in the Windows Security Center I find myself using the touch cursor rather than the JAWS cursor. I'm not sure why I started doing this but since the JAWS cursor isn't always available and the touch cursor will pretty much always work I'd rather use what works rather than something which might or might not behave as expected.

Hi. The touch cursor is something that I often rely on and which I have had good success in using although not with the particular program which you mentioned. Users who only use standard software such as Edge, Word and Outlook likely won't need to rely on the touch cursor that much, if at all.
However, some programs might not make good use of the PC cursor and some don't offer good keyboard support, at all. Also, sometimes the JAWS cursor doesn't work as expected in later versions of Windows. In cases such as these the touch cursor can make an otherwise inaccessible screen or even an inaccessible app somewhat if not totally accessible.

Hi everyone, I've been experimenting with the TOuch Cursor in JAWS with sentinel, which is a radio scanner programming software.  For the most part it is accessible with a few exceptions.  I can tab through the things that I normally would miss with just the PC cursor, but can't activate anything.
What have others luck been with the Touch Cursor?
