Hello,

The World is a daily news magazine on National Public Radio and the
internet. Here is a segment about Braille and Tibet. This segment may be
about 7 minutes long or so. The main page is http://www.theworld.org.
Below is the audio link for this story and the introductory text before
the story. Note that this link will be unavailable after about five days.

Steve

There's an unusually high number of blind people in Tibet. Health
experts put it down to a combination of poor medical services and
a dry, dusty climate that causes cataracts. To make matters worse,
Tibet's blind are often socially marginalized, excluded from school
and work. Now, though, one energetic woman is trying to change that.
The World's Odlilon Couzin caught up with her when she recently
                              visited Beijing.
