Massachusetts Talking Book Program
To Be Featured at State House Event


Senator Steven A. Tolman and State Representative Rachel Kaprielian invite
you to attend a legislative coffee on behalf of the Massachusetts Talking
Book Program on Monday, May 1st, 2000 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Great
Hall at the State House.

The event will provide a "virtual tour" of the Perkins Braille and Talking
Book Library and the Worcester Talking Book Library through the use of
interactive demonstrations. Other highlights include speeches by
legislators concerned about public library services for people with
disabilities and demonstrations of talking computers, braille printers,
internet access, recording studio technology, audio book inspection,
high-speed tape duplication, and other library activities. Live radio
coverage will be provided by the Talking Information Center.

Schedule of Events      9:00 am Registration
        9:30 am Ceremony
        10:00 am        "Virtual Tour" Demonstrations and
                opportunities to visit Legislators' offices
