The general update day, as Don indicated, is typically the 2nd tuesday of
the month which will be tomorrow.
However, you could have your system to check for updates more often -- as
often as daily.
What may be waiting for you depends upon operating system and whether you
wish to see all updates, high priority ones, whatever.
Your question got me curious so I did a manual check to see if I had any
updates pending.
As it turned out, I had one for Silverlight for my XP Home pc running
service pack 3.

I have my pc set to check on a weekly basis.

What you have waiting for you I, of course, don't have the slightest idea.

The promises of God are His guarantees amid life's uncertainties. They're the basis
of all our life of faith.
