Why can only a person with sight work when the power goes off and the PC
is running off the UPS? If the PC is still running then the screen
reader should also still be running. As long as the audio output still
has power, such as plugging powered external speakers in to the UPS,
then the screen reader should still be perfectly functional and usable
until the UPS runs out of power.
