Greetings,
For four or five years now, I've used GOOG-411 (800-4774-411) for all my
directory assistance needs. It's automated uses excellent voice recognition
software, is almost always quick and accurate, and free.
The last few times I've called in, I've been greeted with the announcement
that the service is going away November 11. Just wondered if anyone here
knew why, or of an even sort of remotely equivalent service to replace it.
Thanks,
Deborah
