Yes, I have, but do you have any more details on what you're trying to
do? For example, what will be your host OS and what will be your client
OS's?

I've done the following, but some of this was a little while in the
past, so I can't guarantee everything still holds. I'll present the
information in chronological order.

1) With Windows XP as the host OS, using JAWS and NVDA, I've
successfully run Virtual PC from Microsoft. I've run Windows Vista and
Windows 7 as client OS's under Virtual PC with JAWS and NVDA as screen
readers. To get adequate performance you need to install Virtual PC
tools (I'm not sure that's the name any more.) in the client OS. Note
that Virtual PC is free from Microsoft, and I think it even comes with
Windows 7.

2) With Windows XP and Windows 7 as the host OS, running JAWS or NVDA as
screen readers, I've used VMware Player from VMware. Note that this is
free, but make sure you look for VMware Player since VMware offers other
products which aren't free. My client OS's have been different versions
of Vinux. This is a distribution of Linux based on Ubuntu. It's been
slightly customized for use by the blind, and I've used both the screen
readers SpeakUp and Orca on Vinux as a client OS.

3) With Vinux 3.1 (based on Ubuntu 10.10) or Vinux 3.2.1 (based on
Ubuntu 11.04) and using Orca as the screen reader, I've used VMware
Player. My client OS's have included other versions of Vinux and Ubuntu
using Orca as a screen reader. I also run Windows 7 as a client OS using
JAWS, NVDA and ChromeVox as screen readers.

Just let me know if you have any more questions. Item #3 above is my
current configuration, so that's the set up I can talk to with the most
confidence.
