Some very cogent comments you make.  I also recall comments, from those 
who bought the radio when it was being sold by Best Buy, that they found 
the unit disappointing.
So combine a small potential market with a disappointing product and that 
isn't going to spur sales.
I imagine that these radios probably can be found on Ebay upon occasion.
