In my Outlook Express pullDown menus, meither Expand nor Collapse is
checked, and I don't think
I want either of them to be checked; I just want my list of Inbox e-mails to
be again in chronological order, i.e., with the latest first. I have no
idea of what may have caused this problem to reappear after a couple of
years without it.

So in another pullDown menu I check Ignore Conversation, and I get a check
mark there. But it
disappears, and Expanded still appears with the first of each series of
e-mails having the same Subject, each such bunch being in reverse
chronological order, i.e., with the oldest first.

This problem has occurred previously, but I guess someone visited me who
was able to termihnate it. Can anyone on this list tell me how I might cure
this problem myself with JAWS 9 and IE 7?
