I got the impression from the Brian Hartgen inberview with Marco that 
without the computer it cost less something like seven to eight hundred 
pounds.  Of course, it also seemed to come in maybe two or three pieces even 
witho9ut the computer.  Check out this interview which is quite interesting.

Once you get there you download an mp3 file where Brian talks with Marco. 
and demonstrates the machine.  I still like the idea of the KNFB Mobile 
incorporated into one cellphone, but the Si Recognizer reading bottles and 
cans appeals also.  We need a comparison!

It is advertised at £2,500 here in the U.K., and that's
without training.  That would be around 5,000 American
Dollars.

Prices are a tricky area for manufacturers who, at best, can
usually only quote ex-factory prices.  In this case, I'm not
sure Italian Lire would mean very much to most people.
