Hi Ana.

If you are using JAWS, are you using JAWS 2018? If not, then you have the reason for the message. If so (and I haven't tried this yet to confirm), then your concerns about Firefox accessibility are very plausible.

Subject: [VICUG-L] Firefox Accessibility

Hi All,

How accessible is Firefox for Windows?

I know it went through an inaccessible phase. I thought current versions were screen reader friendly again, but I've just installed a fresh copy, and I'm still getting the error about needing to update my screen reader or go back to an older version of the browser.

Are we still waiting for an update, or is Ana's computer messing with her head?

Thanks for any help.

Ciao
