It's a scam. Microsoft will never call you to renew a license. IN fact, they
will never call you.

Subject: [VICUG-L] Question regarding renewing windows licenses.

Good evening everyone.  

Over the last few months or so, Me and my girlfriend are and have been
receiving phone  messages which is  audio recorded message, saying that our
Microsoft licenses for our windows have expired and that we need to update
and renew them.  Is this one of those scams, or is this messages that we're
receiving the real thing?
