Bear in mind that Adobe Reader cannnot read scanned images. they have to be
recognized by an OCR program, such as Kurzweil 1000, Open Book, FineReader,
or OmniPage.

How does this program work? It is like the older E-mail progrsams? There
have been documents I've wanted to read that are . pdf but are scanned,
and when I open the reader it thinks nothing is there.
