It was easy.  I signed a clean sheet of paper about four times with a
nylon tipped marker and scanned it.  I suggest a marker because you can
write across the full page and after it has been scanned, it will need
to be reduced and the broad lines will become finer; as though they were
made with a typical pen.  Now, it is easiest if someone who can see
reviews the signatures to determine the best one.  Scan it and cut out
the best one and reduce it to a little less than half a page width.
Save it as a JPG file for future use.

To use it in MS Word, place the cursor where you want the signature to
appear and go to the Insert Menu.  Choose Picture and then From File.
Find the JPG image and select it and hit Return.  The image will appear
in the document.
