There are two options that I am aware of. You can pay to upgrade your
yahoo account, or you can use a freeware program called YPOPS!. The
program is a little difficult to setup, unless you understand how
email works. I am using it with Outlook. I do not know how accessible
it is to screen readers.
The link to YPOPs is :

Subject: [VICUG-L] Pop 3 settings and Yahoo! e-mail
Does anyone know whether or not one can set up a pop3 account for
Yahoo! e-mail in either Outlook or Outlook Express?
Thanks.
Regards,
Michael
