Could this be a browser setting? If you are using Internet Explorer you may
want to examine the settings on the General and Advanced tabs of the
Internet Options dialog reached from the Tools sub-menu. Other browsers may
have comparable options.

Cheers,
Duane

Subject: [VICUG-L] an update on my attempt to turn off suggestions in google

Hi all,

When I type www.google.com it no longer shows the link on that page to turn
off google instant, not that I can see anyway. I have been using the
accessible google page and when I type www. it at that point says the amount
of suggestions. Then if you have made a mistake typing and you have to
backspace over the letters it starts reading the suggestions that it has
come up with and it is just a little annoying or confusing sometimes. If
there is anything else I can do anyone can let me know. Thanks very much.

Lisa
