First, let me say that I'm still using version 3.06 of Eudora Pro as it has
all of the features that I need for now. With this version at least, while
writing the text of a message, you can press ctrl-o to open a file (your
text file, in this case), find it in the usual way and then press enter.
The file will now appear on your screen. Press ctrl-a to highlight the
entire file and copy it to the clipboard with ctrl-c. Press ctrl-W to
close the file window and you're back in your message where you left off
and you can now press ctrl-v to paste the contents of your file. I hope
this works in your version, I can't imagine that it wouldn't.
