Hi Morey,

You can do what you want.

I'm on the road at the moment, but suggest you browse
Microsoft's web site for dual booting systems. There are
some docs up there which explain how and what to do.

George.

Subject: [VICUG-L] 1 hard drive...2 Windows Programs

Hello all,
I have purchased a new computer using Windows Vista. The
hard drive is 500
GB. Can a person partition this hard drive and have Vista
and XP both
installed?
I know that it sounds dumb, but just a thought.
Why I am asking, is, I have a printer and some programs that
will not work
in Vista, which I would like to still use.
Any thoughts appreciated, and have a laugh on me.
Thanks,
Morey Worthington
