Hi.
1. go to outlook express.
2. hit alt t for tools, a for accounts.
3. tab to the add button, hit the space bar, and the wizard come up in oe.
4. type your name, then hit alt n for next.
5. type in your e-mail address, then hit alt n for next.
6. in the incoming pop address field type pop.gmail.com and the
outgoing server type smpt.gmail.com
7. hit alt n for next, and before that check the check box that says
server needs authentification.
8. check the box that says download e-mail.
9. then click finish.
10. go to tools, accounts, and then highlight the gmail account.
11. then tab to properties, hit the space bar.
shift tab till you hear advanced.
12. tab to the edit box which says incomning server, type the number
465, and select the checkbox for a secured connection, then tab to the
out going check box, check that with the space bar, and puts in the
number automatically.
13. click okay, then okay, and you are done.

if you are not confident in do that manually, you can go to
http://www.gmail.com.
do a search for configure outlook express with gmail, and there is a
handy little program, which will do all that for you, and you just
download, install, and enter your e-mail, click configure, and wellah,
set up for you.

now your question about switching accounts, in windows xp, you go to
file, and just before exit, there is a dialogue box, says switch or
change user...
then you can change the account of the users, in that account, and
switch to the new account.
if you are using windows vista, and use outlook or windows mail, a
slight difference, in how to switch users, same dialogue, just some
where else.
hope this helps, as had to set it up in windows xp and vista.
cheers Marvin.
