I'm not sure which Firefox upgrade you're talking about, but on Ubuntu,
I don't have any trouble with Webvisum and Firefox 10.0. I'm not sure if
the automatic update of extensions works with Webvisum, so you may need
to go to http://www.webvisum.com/en/main/download and start the update
manually.
