Subject: [SEC508] MEDIA: accessible CSUN keynote webcast on Abletv.net . . .

My apologies for sending this out on such short notice. The CSUN keynote
address by Ray Kurzwel is going to be webcast in an accessible format on
AbleTV, Wednesday, March 19th at 7:30 AM (PST) from the Hilton LAX venue.
To view the webcast go to http://www.abletv.net and go to the CSUN2003 link
under the Late Breaking News section on our home page. For those wishing to
view the live webcast, you must have either the Real One player Basic or
Plus application loaded on to your computer. We suggest using the Real One
basic as this software is free of charge. This keynote address is slated to
be one of the most exciting ones done yet at CSUN as Ray Kurzweil is someone
of great visibility within the field of accessibility. I would appreciate
it if this email announcement could be forwarded on to other list serves
where the message has not been viewed yet. As always, I appreciate your
support of viewing accessible webcasts done on AbleTV and I am looking
forward to having many of you view this event on Wednesday morning.

About TVWorldwide.com, AbleTV.net and AT508.com

In addition to being a video streaming service provider, TVWorldwide.com is
building a network of community-based Internet TV channels, each
underwritten by a strategic partner, "aimcasting" to targeted B2B and
special interest audiences worldwide. TVWorldwide.com has worked with one of
its first aimcast channels, AbleTV.net, to pioneer live and archived video
streaming with open captioning to aid web site accessibility for people with
disabilities, a concept developed by disability activist Jeff Pledger, who
lost his sight 19 years ago due to illness. Now, AT508.com, has joined the
TVWorldwide.com line-up, powered by the assistive technology and Section 508
writings and video interviews of noted disability columnist John Williams.
TVWorldwide.com was recently named one of the streaming video industry's
"Hottest Companies" by Streaming Magazine.
