Hello List

I would like to provide free computer training for blind
children. I know how important computer skills are for these
kids.

Students will be selected by phone interviews with them and their
parents. I will judge the amount and level of the trainings on
an individual basis.

Since my facility is small and I am funding this myself, I will
only be able to select a few students. I would prefer one student
at a time. The training sessions run usually for 3 days.
The student and a parent or guardian could stay for free at my
small bed & breakfast on Shelter Island, New York during
training.

I have been training blind persons on adaptive computers for
almost 20 years. I have an excellent reputation for both training
and building computers.

Sorry, I cannot pay for transportation or meals, but I will
provide lessons and lodging.

If I can get old computers or adaptive equipment I will re-
furbish it and give it to the students.

Please have parents contact me at:

or call 631 749-0842 (please not after 8pm Eastern time).

Thank you,

Peter Mikochik

PS. I am not on many lists, so please if anyone knows of an
appropriate list for this announcement, please post it for me.
Thanks again.
