I was wondering the same thing. When you said you restored your system,
what OS are you talking about? What OS was on the system originally and
what OS is on the system now? It would also be good to know how the OS
was installed on the system originally, for example was it installed by
the PC maker like HP? Also, how did you do the restore? Did you use the
PC's restore disk or partition or did you use a copy of Windows 7?

It sounds like you're talking about the libraries in windows 7, which I
would expect to see on your desktop. I don't know why this wouldn't have
been on your system originally. I would guess that the Home Group icon
is your local network, which again I would expect to see on your desktop.
