Jody, peter et al.
the australian company which used to be known as Robotron now
apparrently Sensory Tools,
seems to have several stand alone units.

They used to be, and perhaps still are, represented in this country
by John Panaries of Technologies for the visually Impaired


John is a good guy, as for the company I give them a good shaky
maybe.

I have no direct experience with their reading machines or
other current products.

As Kelly says, a second computer would almost undoubtedly be
cheaper, assuming you allready have a software reading machine
package that will allow you to install it on a second box.

gee,doesn't windows claim to be a multi-tasking operating system?
