Don't know what your personal issue is, but I've been using IE a whole lot today with no problem. Some web sites work better with ie, others with google and still others with Firefox.

Subject: [VICUG-L] new browser, IE is no more!

Hi all,

using windows 10, 1803 on a desktop, and Jaws 2018, latest update.

I remember telling you all I used internet explorer. Well, I used it
till yesterday. As of yesterday, IE, is no more. I tried to click on a
link, using Jaws, 10 times, I pressed tab and shift tab to go to the
link, and press enter, I did the shift f7 for the link list, found the
link, then pressed enter, and nothing.

So, here's where I am folks. The problem with Fire Fox and with Chrome
is, they will not let me do 2 letter navigation, and I have over 250
favorites, and I don't have any time to down arrow through it, and with
Microsoft Edge, I imported my internet explorer favorites over to it,
and checked the favorites folder in Microsoft Edge, and they're not
there, nothing is there. So that's not going to work. So, I have 2 ideas
left:

1. Download and install Safari on my windows computer, and try it.

2. Mike, on this list, gave me an idea, and that is, create a file with
your favorites, saying the name of the favorite, then, pasting in the
link below it.

I'm going to do that, unless anyone has a better idea for me. Because
right now, I have no browser to use, for bookmarks, I can only type in a
web page.

Harry
