Dan raises an important point, Robert.

Stuff like this always happens; and, unless it recurs regularly, I just 
look at this as an unfortunate anomaly which reminds me that I should back 
up what I am working on more often.
If you areworried that you have a virus, I'd do a scan as a precaution.

Just a wild guess; something temporarily messed up your screen reader or 
the software you were writing your  
post inand generated random characters.

I don't worry about stuff like this unless it repeats.  If you don't want 
to be concerned about stuff like this,
then stay offline.  Otherwise, it's a small price for what we get for the 
benefits of an online info world.

Expecting perfection, while we think this is possible, just isn't there.
