Don't forget that in many parts of the world, embossers do
print 42 or even 44 characters on a line, albeit with either
wider paper, or with Swedish sized cells, which have
slightly less spacing between cells than the American
Library of Congress standard.

not having seen all the latest and greatest tech, what is
the smallest 
braille display on the market these days?  OK, I know there
is a 12 cell 
Braille Connect, but how about a 40 cell, (why didn't anyone
ever make a 
42 cell display, IE, as wide as an 11.5 braille page?).
