About a year ago, my wife and I bought two different HP ink jet printers.
One is a 3 function model and the other is a 4 function model. Cost was
inexpensive -- on sale they were $70 and $90 respectively. Both are easy
for maintenance i.e. changing the cartridges. the 3 function model is
easier for operation than the 4 function model.

I have the 4 function model and find the software and documentation poor as
far as accessibility is concerned. The operating buttons have no
information provided except what you can tease out of the documentation, a
spouse, friend, or trial and error.

I also find some of the software provided very annoying. For example, there
is an HP screen that loads every time you boot and it slows getting to work.
