Hi all,

Yes, those phone calls from microsoft are definitely a scam.  I received one 
of those calls a while back and told the person on the phone that I knew it 
was a scam and hung up.

I also got a similar phone call from Dish Network a few days ago.  It was 
definitely a situation where the person had done some hacking into Dish 
Network and got our phone number.  It was real apparent though by the 
questions they asked trying to get information that they really weren't dish 
network because they would already know that info if they were really Dish 
Network.
