Great question, Eddie. I hope the answers come
back through the list, as such details could
benefit & interest many.

Thanks,
Everett

Subject: [VICUG-L] TIMELINE OF ADAPTIVBE EQUIPMENT
FOR LOW VISION AND BLIND
Does anybody knows where I can get a timeline or
some type of history of adaptive equipment for the
blind or low vision? I know I have seen articles
in the past that talked about it, but for the life
of me, I can’t find them. When I look, I get
history of individual agencies but I am looking
for when the first screen reader came about and
who was the second. The same for electronic note
takers and so on. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
