        I don't think the problem is reliance on the internet for research, but
rather, reliance on non-scholarly or non-juried sources, which the internet
makes easier to creat.  considering that the mass online world has only been
around for about 10 years, It's amazing that 15 percent of the world's
estimated information is available in that arena.

        It seems intelegent people ought to be able to develop a rational system
for fairly treating the interests of copyright holders and users.  The hole
copyright compliance system is quite confusing for all concerned.

        Frankly, I don't care if my research comes from a book or the internet, I
care about the quality of the original publication or author.  The sooner
traditional books are replaced by quality online offerings, the better.
