Do a web search using "area code" and perhaps "assign". There is an
official outfit that provides this information, I think Martin Mmarietta,
(got the last name wrong, but it;'s that defense company). They have a
site with the info, but when I checked it last, it was unaccessible with
lynx. However, you may be able to make heads or tails out of it.

Hello,

Does anyone happen to know where I can get the latest electronic version
of New area code change list? I am willing either purchase or download a
copy to update the telephone database.

Thanks.
