The next meeting for the Real-eyes Computer Users Group is scheduled to
take place on Tuesday, November 9 at the Center for Blindness and Low
Vision, 2801 Wyandotte, Third Floor, Dining Room C, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Agenda:
In October, Paul Mimms correctly answered the computer trivia challenge,
and was the first to do so. The version number of the Disk Operating
System, (DOS) before the release of Windows 95 was indeed 6.22.
Therefore, he wins a great CD full of great
programs. Not to worry, there's lots more CD's where that one came from,
and you too could be a winner if you answer the next trivia challenge.
Free Tapes:
Michael Lauff conducts a weekly program on the Internet called Handitalk,
and this week, yours truly was among the call-in guests on the show.
The discourse included discussion concerning message unification services,
broadband Internet connections, and audio in general.
Tapes of this program will be distributed to members.

Special Feature:
We are very excited to announce that Greg Meise from Missing Link
Technologies
http://www.mltinfo.com
will be present at our meeting to demonstrate a relatively new
device called an I D mate. This is a talking bar code reader. Greg always
conducts exciting, informative demonstrations, so you really will not want
to miss this meeting.
