JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Determines eligibility/ineligibility for vocational rehabilitation services. Develops and implements individualized program of rehabilitation services for
blind and visually impaired consumers in a multi-county district with the ultimate goal being successful rehabilitation and job placement into gainful
employment.

MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree and professional experience in human services or social services programs.

Additional Requirement: A master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:

Must have above average knowledge of State and Federal VR laws and regulations. Must be able to work one-on-one and in groups in a professional counseling/guidance
format. Employee will be responsible for meeting all designated quality and productivity standards in a quality manner with minimal supervision. Job does
require travel up to three days per week and occasional overnight.

I recommend that you consider which certifications are well-regarded in
the industry. You could do this by finding accomplished professionals
and interviewing them, or by finding postings for jobs of interest and
noting what they're looking for.
